Concept, research, prototype video
Hive is a concept co-developed by a team of multidisciplinaries, including industrial designers, journalists and architects, and myself, an exhibit and graphic designer.
The project was sponsored by RCA and sought to invent purely new ways for people to interact with information. The result now (5 years later) seems quaint, but at the time the idea of a device or space that would allow users to interact with each other in false realities over great distances was a marvel.
